    Profender doesn't cover heartworm. We suggest to use this product in conjunction with Revolution/Stronghold or Advocate/Advantage Multi so your cat will be covered from almost all parasites, including fleas.

    I first found Profender at Petmeds site and you have to have a prescription. My question is why does Petmeds says you only need to apply the Profender once a year but you say every 3 months? That is confusing and doesn't seem right.
