Question:
i have 9 dogs can i combine nexgard chewables with milbemax?are you suggest something else?thanks
By Anonymous
Answer:Nexgard covers flea and tick and Milbemax covers all intestinal worms except Heartworm. If you live low risk heartworm area, this is a very good combination. If you don't want to take a risk at all, we recommend Nexgard + Heartgard. Or you can add a valuheart top of Nexgard / Milbemax combination

Question:
My dog will be a year old next month. She is currently on worm shield for heartworm prevention. She has a tapeworm, she weighs 23 lbs, would your medication interfer or interact negatively with the worm shield?
By Anonymous
Answer:The active ingredient in Wormshield is Ivermectin, which is also found in Heartgard, which we sell (<a href="http://goo.gl/rYcoQ7">http://goo.gl/rYcoQ7</a>), although Ivermectin does not control Tapeworm. Milbemax contains Praziquantel, which causes tapeworms to muscle spasm and are then digested. So the ingredients differ, as does the process, however we suggest asking your vet if your dog will be ok with these two active ingredients together. It is important that your dog is assessed before administering a range of ingredients together.
