    Answer:

    Advantage 11 is for killing the whole lifecycle of fleas and lice, whereas Advantix will also kill ticks as well as fleas. So they are not the same.

    Unfortunately we cannot advise on this site unseen so you may need to ask your vet. With many dogs it's not a problem.

Otherwise, sorry I don't understand what you referred to as time limit.
